Children & Youth at Trinity

Welcome to Trinity, where our Sunday School, founded by Isaac N. Whiting in 1827, stands as a beacon of our parish life. Embracing children and youth of all ages, it has remained a steadfast cornerstone over the years.

Explore below to discover the diverse ministries tailored for our young members and learn how you can engage as a dedicated volunteer.

Parents may come and drop off their kiddos with some time to spare before the service, and our kids will have an hour before communion to learn and play together. We will be using a curriculum called Celebrate Wonder this spring, which will include Bible stories, songs, videos, and activities to help them explore their faith. As we work through our year, we’ll assess ways we can engage our kids not only in Sunday school, but at home as well.

Nursery

We invite caregivers to bring their children ages 0 – 4 to our nursery before service at 10:00 AM for time to play, meet other children, and enjoy some snacks while their caregivers participate in worship. The nursey is found on the second floor and is staffed by our dedicated nursery staff.

Sunday School

Sunday Schoool is for children ages 5 – 10, and is led Sunday mornings with a lesson beginning at 10 AM, as well as games, activities, and additional spiritual nourishment. The children's formation room is  found on the second floor and staffed by a rotating volunteer group.

The success of our Church School program is only made possible with volunteers.
To get involved, please get in touch with Kathryn Watson, Children's Ministry Coordinator, or fill out our volunteer form at the bottom of this page.

Youth Group (6th – 12th grade)

Our friends at St. Stephen's and St. John's Worthington have invited St. Alban's and the Trinity youth to attend their Sunday evening youth group. Because each church has a smaller number of youth, they have combined to have more fun and more events! We are thrilled to be a part of this collaboration, and Kathryn Watson, along with other youth group volunteers will be going in support of them on Sundays, as well as to provide a Trinity presence to our own youth who may attend.

We are setting a tentative date for next Sunday the 25th of February from 2-3:30 PM to host the youth gathering at Trinity, so please let Kathryn know if your child is interested in attending!
