Deborah Miller, 72, of Dublin, passed away on March 12, 2020. She was born on August 11, 1947 in Columbus to Herbert and Marjorie (Holzer) Fischer. In addition to her father; she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Clifford Miller.
Deborah graduated from St. Francis College with a diploma degree in nursing in June of 1978. She was a registered nurse her entire career, having practiced at Riverside Physicians Center, Riverside Hospital, and Doctors Hospital North. She truly enjoyed helping people whether they were patients or family members in need.
Deborah was a kind and generous friend to all. She was a great listener, sounding board, advice giver and most of all, a loving mother and grandmother. In her free time, she greatly enjoyed reading, gardening, and especially shopping. Among other things, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her Maltese puppy named "Sugar". Deborah also enjoyed volunteering. She would often volunteer through programs that Trinity Episcopal Church sponsored such as St. Johns Dinner and In the Garden, which were programs that served hot meals to the less fortunate in our downtown community.
Deborah will be greatly missed by her children, Andrew (Tara) Sapp and Emily Beck; grandchildren, Jonathan Beck Jr. (Kesslynn), Mackenzie Sapp, Teddy Beck, Abbie Sapp, and Campbell Sapp; mother, Marjorie Holzer; brothers, Michael Fischer and Jeffrey (Cindy) Fischer, stepbrothers, Steve (Lesley) Holzer and David (Beth) Holzer and stepsister, Lynda Clutchey and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
