Trinity plans exciting kickoff to fall season…
October 2—Apple Picking and Pumpkin Patch Please join the Trinity Community after the 10:30 liturgy for
Apple Picking at Lynd’s Fruit Farm (9090 Morse Rd. SW, Pataskala, 43062).
We will stop at the Old Bag of Nails in Gahanna (63 Mill Street, Gahanna, 43230) on the way for fellowship and fuel for an afternoon in the orchard. October 9—Share the Harvest! Share your harvest with the Trinity Community! Turn those apples and pumpkins into treats to share during coffee hour after both morning services and with In the Garden. Even those unable to go picking on the 2nd are encouraged to share the harvest with baked goods on the 9th.
Saturday, October 1 & Sunday, October 2- Undercroft painting and spruce up starting at 10:30 am Saturday and 3:30 pm Sunday. Please enter through outside undercroft doors, down stairs on Broad Street. Many hands would be appreciated. Everyone is welcome and needed—those who can paint and those who can help wash down walls and tables. Help Trinity brighten up for the Columbus Marathoners’ dinner and breakfast on October 15/16… and much, much more!
Sunday, October 2 celebrates St. Francis Day and Parish Life and the Sunday School encourage that pictures of pets, or stuffed animals, be brought to church for a "Blessing of the Animals". Parish Life is also arranging for donations to the Capital Area Humane Society. Who are currently oversupplied with newspaper but their critical need items include canned cat, dog, kitten and puppy food (Science Diet preferred), dry dog and cat food for their food bank, and Kong® dog toys - size LARGE and up. http://www.cahs-pets.org/get_involved/wish_list.htm.

Trinity has big plans for Marathon Weekend
October 15 & 16, 2011. For complete details click this image.Volunteers are needed to help Trinity host the various Columbus Marathon events Friday, October 14 through Sunday, October 16. Volunteers can staff the expo booth on Friday, October 14 or Saturday, October 15. There is a need for 15-20 people to help host the pasta dinner for Columbus Marathon runners and families on Saturday, October 15. Also, parishioners are needed to help with the race day pancake breakfast on Sunday, October 16. Please consider how you can assist Trinity provide hospitality to the many Columbus Marathon runners and supporters. Sign up sheets will be available at church and feel free to email Debbie Wiedwald at deb1e@aol.com to sign up today. Trinity has a wonderful opportunity to partner with Columbus Marathon and to raise funds to support our various ministries.
