Coffee Hour Hosts—ALL upcoming Sundays are still available for those wishing to host coffee hour. Please, go to the online Doodle poll to sign up.As the new program year begins, anyone wishing to join a Sunday morning team (ushers, lectors, altar guild, chorister, etc.) should email Diane Donato or call her in the Parish Office 221-5351. Please specify what ministry you would like to join, and which service you normally attend. Diane will forward your information to the coordinator for your desired team.

At the liturgy last Sunday in Schiller Park, Trinity entered the unusual, symbolic world of contemporary American poet James Tate and shared a time of reflection on one of a series of short poems collected in a single piece, "It Happens Like This." People responded with great energy, so we want to go a little deeper.The Rector will continue looking at this astounding poem this Sunday, August 21, at a Chapel Chat following the 9:30am service - and you are invited to join him in this exploration! (No prior exposure to Tate's poetry is assumed. Just come with an open spirit and joyful imagination.)
And on Sunday, August 28 come to one more Summer Chapel Chat looking further into Creativity & the Spirit.
Register for Church School
All parents are asked to register their children for Trinity's Church School, which resumes for the academic year on Sunday, September 11. A simple online form is available here. Anyone interested in serving as a Church School Teacher should speak with the Rector as soon as possible.ALLERGIES can be very dangerous...
Please, register your child so we know what to avoid.

If you would like to place a flower memorial or thanksgiving in the Sunday bulletin, please contact Diane Donato in the Parish Office via email or at 221-5351. A donation of $50 is suggested, but any reasonable amount will be accepted. Only a few dates are spoken for currently.

"Cocktails at the Conservatory"
Franklin Park ConservatoryJoin Trinity friends (age 21 and over) to enjoy a lovely evening of entertainment, art and gardens at the Franklin Park Conservatory's "Cocktails at the Conservatory." Included are featured cocktails or full bar selection along with small plate hors d'oeuvres in the Conservatory's Atrium or John F. Wolfe Palm House. Of course, non-alcoholic selections are also available. Any current exhibition, The Chihuly Collection, James Turrell's Light Raiment II installation will be on view. Arrive and depart at the time of your choosing.
