Last workshop before ECSF’s grant deadline!

The Episcopal Community Services Foundation is the diocese’s main source of grants for community ministry in Southen Ohio. Join ECSF’s grants committee Saturday July 30 at Procter Conference Center for a crash course on the new grant guidelines.  This gives you six weeks before proposals are due Sept. 15.  The workshop starts at 10 with an hour explaining the changes, followed by exciting talks by two grantees on how they’re using key strategies called for in the new proposal.  Afternoon breakout sessions offer tools for consulting the people you serve, and drawing on your faith to shape and support community ministry.
Visit www.ECSFsouthernohio or call ECSF’s Ariel Miller at 513-221-0547 to sign up for any part of the day that fits your interest and needs.  ECSF donors are also welcome and encouraged to attend. The workshop is free:  the only charge is $9 if you’re joining us for lunch. The workshop leaders are Rhonda Abban. MSW and the Rev. Gary Givler of ECSF’s grants committee, with grantee panelists Holly Sowel-Jenkins of St. Simon’s Future Stars in Lincoln Heights and Evanthia Owen of Trinity Church and Partners in Hope in Troy.
