Trinity celebrates a Treasure…

On Monday, July 1, we held a celebration of the life of Eloise Allison.  The Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Lilly—Eloise’s Goddaughter—preached a beautiful homily.  You can find the text linked on our church website’s Proclamation page.

We pray for all who are sick or suffering at this time – Pauline Austin, Hal Duryee, Amelia Lewis, Katherine Hope Jones,  John Austen, Sr., Patricia Caldwell,  Debbie Smith, Elijah Todd,  Michael McKinley, Bob Park  and others whom we name silently or aloud.
We pray for Seaman Kristy Olmstead, Captain Andrew Saik, Capt. Brian Smith, Cynthia Epler, Jordan Sellman, Ted Abad, Matt Schumann, Commander Scott Whaley, Specialist Michael A. Martin, Gunnery Sergeant Robert A Griffith Jr., and all who serve our country.
We remember all who work for peace around the world, especially in North Korea, Syria, Egypt, Iran & Israel, and Afghanistan.
On this day we renew our commitments to serve the poorest in our midst and remember all who are homeless and hungry in our city today.  We give thanks for the generous hospitality offered this afternoon at the In The Garden, and pray for the Holy Spirit’s abundant grace in our fellowship.
Birthdays:   Bob Roberts, Cooper Minton, Ellen Rose, Peggy Bernhard, Olivia Govan.
The altar flowers are given to the Glory of God and in Memory of John McComb.
