St. John's His Place Dinner

Wednesday, June 28

We are asking the good people of Trinity please consider helping cook a casserole and/or help with serving the St. Johns Dinner dinner on the 28th of June. This is an important community mission for Trinity , and requires a minimal amount of your time. If you are serving, you will need to arrive around 4:30 or 5:00 pm. You should be finished by 7:00 or 7:30 pm. This is no more than 2 or 3 hours of your time. Cooking a casserole requires even less time. We know your time is valuable , and we so deeply appreciate  your help .  We will provide a sign up sheet for both the 8:00 and 10:30  service in the rear of the sanctuary.
Contact Deborah Miller for any questions or concerns you may have. Cell (614) 378-3040 or home phone (614) 764-9276.

takes summer vacation for cleaning and re-organizing!

As in past summers, In The Garden will close operations from Aug. 1- Sept. 12.  This time will be used to clean and re-furbish the Undercroft and kitchen, make necessary repairs, etc.  for enhanced use of this space in the future!
Meanwhile, the only supplies we need right now are:
coffee, juice boxes, deodorant, toothpaste, toilet paper.
In order to help clean and store things properly, we do not need other toiletries or clothes at this point, and thank you for your generosity in the past.  Going forward, please take any extra clothes you may wish to donate to the Free Store on Parsons Ave.  We are not able to store and dispense clothing at ITG in the future!
As mentioned before, we are seeking additional Trinity folks who want to volunteer to guide and sustain this important ministry!  Please prayerfully consider if you have a call to work with ITG, and contact Father Burnett or Jake Cunliffe if you have further questions.

Holy Cross Church Greek Orthodox Church, in Damascus, Syria
Praying for peace around the world, we continue to ask God for a deeper compassion and greater courage to offer help to refugees and migrants and all in need.
We renew our commitments to serve the neediest and most easily forgotten in our midst and remember all who are homeless and hungry in our city today.  We give thanks for the generous hospitality offered this afternoon at In The Garden, and pray for the Holy Spirit’s abundant grace in our fellowship.
We pray for all who are sick or suffering at this time – Susan Randazzo, Terri Adame,  Sonia Cardenas, Ray Payton, Jon Tumas, John Blodgett, Jerry Sellman, Jean Olmstead, Mary Beittel, Marjorie Holzer, Eleanor Johnson, Elizabeth Lilly, Sean Lalik, Jeff McNealey, Walter Friedmann, Kay Sturm, John Sanders, Dick Oman, Sharon Whaley, David and Tyra and all in prison, and others whom we name silently or aloud.
