Trinity’s Explorers’ Blast 2015 —Saturday, April 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the church and Parish House. In addition, all people “exploring” their faith and Christian discipleship, leading toward adult confirmation/reception in The Episcopal Church (Saturday, May 16, 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church on the OSU campus) are invited to choose from three possible dates for smaller conversations with the Rector and other Trinity leaders reflecting on common ministry in this congregation.
Our proposed days and times for these conversations are:
Sunday, April 26, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 2, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 3, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
GARDEN PARTY THIS SUNDAY
Well, when Pat leads a meeting it feels like a party...The Lay Weeders’ spring planning meeting will be this Sunday, April 26, at 9:15 in the parish library. (There will be no formation class that day, so there will be no conflict.) We’ll discuss annuals for the northwest corner and perennials for the south bed. Please look around your garden to see if you have any shade lovers to share

We have many weekday requests for snacks and canned self-opening food items as well. Remember to save hotel toiletries from your travels. All donations are greatly appreciated.

THIS WEEK WE REMEMBER IN PRAYER:We remember all who work for peace around the world, and especially this day we pray for our nation and other international partners discerning war and peace and wisdom in this time of terror and violence. Remembering friends and family members related to this community, we pray for Petty Officer Kristy Sizemore, Cynthia Epler, Matt Schumann, Commander Scott Whaley, Gunnery Sergeant Robert A Griffith Jr., and all who serve our country.
Today we pray for peace throughout the world, especially in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Iran.
We renew our commitments to serve the neediest and most easily forgotten in our midst and remember all who are homeless and hungry in our city today. We give thanks for the generous hospitality offered this afternoon at In The Garden, and pray for the Holy Spirit’s abundant grace in our fellowship.
We pray for all who are sick or suffering at this time –Joanne Lynch, Dave Mozano, Pauline Austin, Leelah Acorn, Marie & Keith Duty, Bishop Ken Price, Jan Heston, Frances Bennekamper, Gayle Nash, Jayla Kennedy, Josh McKinney, Sharon Whaley, Hal Duryee, Bob Park and others whom we name silently or aloud.
