From the Parish Treasurer:

Dear Trinity People,
Not only is it Capital Campaign time it is also Stewardship 2018 time.  The Vestry and Finance Committee are deeply involved in raising money for next year by asking for pledges of any amount to be used for running the church next year.  Stewardship cards are available from the office, from the ushers on Sundays and from Vestry members.  In fact, cards are also being mailed to parishioners this week. We very much need completed pledge cards this month so we have a better understanding of what the budget for 2018 can be.  Please feel free to contact me personally by phone (614-296-2272), by email (  or by snail mail (757 Mohawk Street, 43206).  The Parish Office can also provide them as can anyone on the Vestry and the Rector.
And one more thing, if you haven’t yet completed your pledge for 2017, please try to accomplish that task before the end of the year.  Needless to say we need the money.
Bill Forbes

A letter from the Capital Campaign/Annual Giving leadership team is being mailed to parishioners and is available here.

Adult Formation:
Sanctuary: The Covenant Peoples

In the book of Exodus, God’s people are given sanctuary and then called to “make me a sanctuary, so that I may dwell among them.” (Exodus 25:8) It’s a story of how a people become God’s people, the covenant people.  Join our 5-week study during adult formation as we delve into the theme of sanctuary and God dwelling among us as we continue to live out the covenant that God promise with us. Parishioner Jenny Grunauer lids this gathering.
Adult Formation is held on Sundays at 9:15am in the Parish Library.

His Place Dinner - Volunteers needed

Trinity is serving a community dinner at St John's Franklinton on Wednesday, December 20. If you have agreed to create a casserole in advance for that meal, please bring it to church so it can be stored in the In the Garden freezers. Please speak to Lori Dhiraprasiddhi and Jake Cunliffe with any questions or if you are interested in serving at the dinner!

From the Parish Office:

We are grateful for your continuing gifts of toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes and body lotion – no cosmetics please), self-opening snacks and men’s athletic socks.  We have many visitors throughout the week who are need of these items as we are a cooling station in the summer and a warming station in the winter and we provide funds for state IDs for homeless people. Like In The Garden we are not equipped to handle clothing and recommend the United Methodist Free Store, 946 Parsons Ave. (614) 443-1713; and the Open Shelter, 61 E. Mound St., (614) 222-2885. Thank you so much!

The only supplies we need right now are: coffee, juice boxes, shampoo, soap, toilet paper.
In order to help clean and store things properly, we do not need other toiletries or clothes at this point, and thank you for your generosity in the past.  Going forward, please take any extra clothes you may wish to donate to the Free Store on Parsons Ave.  We are not able to store and dispense clothing at ITG in the future!
We are seeking additional Trinity folks who want to volunteer to guide and sustain this important ministry!  Please prayerfully consider if you have a call to work with ITG, and contact Father Burnett or Jake Cunliffe if you have further questions.
