4th Annual Parish Pasta DinnerSaturday, October 18, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in our newly "face-lifted" Undercroft! Tickets are available online here. Let's do this, Trinity!!
This year the enhanced menu will be not only a fund-raiser for our parish, but will provide an opportunity for Trinity folks to gather and play together and eat together! The menu will include homemade marinara sauce, garlic bread, green salad and desserts, with assorted beverages! There will be music and entertainment as well, so come and rejoice with your fellow parishioners of all ages! Bring friends and family! At $10.00 a person, it is a "runaway" bargain and a "happening"!

Brass Polishing Party

Floral Guild TrainingThose interested in preparing altar flower decorations for Trinity Church will have a training session on Saturdays, November 1, at 10:00 a.m. in the church. Please contact Kent Phillips for more details. Once trained members will sign up for weeks when they will design the floral decorations.
Lifting Her Up: 2014 Women's Ministry Conference
Saturday, Oct. 18 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Deadline to register - Oct. 10'Lifting Her Up: A Faith Based Approach to Gender Inequality and Poverty' is theme of the 2014 Women's Ministry Conference, sponsored by Episcopal Church Women.
The Rev. Dr. Maylin Biggadike, a Christian ethicist, economist and priest in the Diocese of Newark, NJ, will deliver the keynote address and explore why large populations are still enslaved in poverty and deprivation. Conference participants are invited and encouraged to bring information and displays to share about local ministries at their churches.
Prayers and lessons that lift women's voices will be included in the Eucharist and closing worship services. Participants will have an opportunity to write prayers and summarize their own reactions to the day's experience for sharing with others at their churches.
All are welcome to attend the conference. Cost is $15 per person. Register at

Worship, Music & Arts Events:Sunday, November 9, following the 10:30 am liturgy, join members of WM&A for an outing to New Albany’s Church of the Resurrection. Artist (and Trinity member) Renate Fackler has an installation of bronze sculptures there that are not to be missed. Gather for lunch at the Rusty Bucket in new Albany as soon as possible after church then join with Renate as she leads us through her exhibition and discusses her works. It’s also a wonderful chance to see a beautiful, newly constructed Roman Catholic Church. Renate is pictured here with her creation for the recently renovated Ohio Student Union at OSU.

October 18th at 6:00 PM Calling all artists, writers, and performers to participate in a special dinner in preparation for EASE Gallery’s Spring community project, a show and book, which will be entitled “Trespasses": Trespass is a very old idea, and although it’s often seen negatively it can lead to beauty and revolutions in understanding. Sometimes we need other people to trespass into our private preserves of thought and belief, and into our carefully curated ways of doing things.

THIS WEEK WE REMEMBER IN PRAYER:We pray for all Christians and persons of other faiths throughout the world who are persecuted on account of their faith and especially for those Christians at St. Thecia Church Greek Orthodox Church, in Daraya, Syria.
We remember all who work for peace around the world, and especially this day we pray for our nation and other international partners discerning war and peace and wisdom in this time of terror and violence.
Remembering friends and family members related to this community, we pray for Petty Officer Kristy Sizemore, Cynthia Epler, Jordan Sellman, Matt Schumann, Commander Scott Whaley, Gunnery Sergeant Robert A Griffith Jr., and all who serve our country.
We continue to remember all suffering with the Ebola Virus in Liberia and the greater West African region. We renew our commitments to serve the poorest in our midst and remember all who are homeless and hungry in our city today. We give thanks for the generous hospitality offered this afternoon at In The Garden, and pray for the Holy Spirit’s abundant grace in our fellowship.
