WINTER DATES ARE NOW OPEN!

Trinity Members Head to Ermita, Zacatecas, Mexico
and Request Your Assistance

Madeleine Trichel, Dale Deubler, Alan Sheppard, Dick Korn (Madeleine's husband) and Bill Merrill will be going to Mexico on January 22 to continue the work, needs assessment and relationship-building that was initiated last year.
MexicoAt the request of the local residents, the group will utilize their skills to improve the electrical capabilities of a kindergarten school, help establish a bee-keeping project and provide rehabilitation service and education to an underserved population in this rural area of Mexico. Each member of the group is funding his/her own trip.
They will be taking equipment and supplies with them. While they can pack efficiently, they will incur additional fees for baggage. We are requesting donations from Trinity members to help defer the baggage fees, and are very appreciative of the donations that have already been given. If you are able to help with this outreach project, please submit checks made out to "Trinity Church" with a notation, "Mexico." We promise reports upon return. Thank you.

Altar Decoration Memorials
flowersMOST DATES STILL AVAILABLE!

Disposable Diapers are always in need

Please don't forget our neighbors on the street. Candles, diapers, and new dry socks are essential for this time of year. We have many weekday requests for snacks and canned self-opening food items as well. Remember to save hotel toiletries from your travels. All donations are greatly appreciated.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity - 18th to 25th January 2014
HAS CHRIST BEEN DIVIDED?

The Anglican Centre in Rome marks the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which is traditionally observed from the 18th to the 25th January - the octave of St. Peter and St. Paul.
Each year Christians in a different part of the world are invited to produce material: in 2014 the Churches of French Canada have chosen for us a key biblical text of the ecumenical movement and have invited us to think about what our divisions say to the world and to each other about the Christian faith.  Their chosen text is HAS CHRIST BEEN DIVIDED?  (1 Corinthians 1.3) more

THIS WEEK WE REMEMBER IN PRAYER:

We pray for all who are sick or suffering at this time –Ted Clark,  Madeleine Trichel,  Amelia Lewis, Jenny Treasure, Marjorie Dotson, Debbie McKinney, Norma Fluhrer, Madeline Wohl, Pauline Austin, Patricia Caldwell, Debbie Smith, Elijah Todd, Michael McKinley, Bob Park  and others whom we name silently or aloud.
We pray for Petty Officer Kristy Sizemore, Cynthia Epler, Jordan Sellman, Matt Schumann, Commander Scott Whaley, Gunnery Sergeant Robert A Griffith Jr., and all who serve our country.
We remember all who work for peace around the world, especially in Syria, Egypt, Israel and the Palestinian communities, and Afghanistan.
We renew our commitments to serve the poorest in our midst and remember all who are homeless and hungry in our city today.  We give thanks for the generous hospitality offered this afternoon at the In The Garden, and pray for the Holy Spirit’s abundant grace in our fellowship.
