Music, Worship & Arts in the Life of Trinity Church

The Music, Worship & Arts Committee of Trinity Church serves not only as an advisory group to our Clergy and Music Staff, but as an originating group for events and activities that illuminate the Arts as a tool for spiritual growth and community building for members of the church, as well as our community at large.

In the 2006-7 year, the committee hopes to define itself with a clear organizational structure and develop at least one activity per quarter in the following:

• Literature - a book study or continued "Meet the Authors" series
• Music - Evensong or special music concert
• "Soul Food" Series - begin a series of explorations through the Arts (poetry, dance, drama, graphics) that will enhance our spiritual quest

Whether through worship services or special events, the MWA Committee seeks to provide opportunities for the members of Trinity and the greater Columbus community to experience together what the creativity and beauty found in Art can do to enrich the intellectual and spiritual aspects of our lives.
