Spring 2008 - Book & Movie Discussion Group

Meeting Second Mondays at 7:00 PM in the Trinity Library

We will be viewing and reading selected movies and books in advance of meeting, and meeting for 90 minutes for discussion of the movie or book and fellowship.

On April 14, we will discuss the book, Grace (Eventually), Thoughts On Faith, by Anne Lamott. This most recent book by Anne Lamott continues her discussion of faith and its intersection with everyday life. Several copies of the paperback edition of the book have been ordered for the group. In anticipation of Bishop Thomas Breidenthal’s visit to Trinity in early June, we will be reading and his book, Christian Households: The Sanctification of Nearness. We will discuss this book on May 12th at 7 p.m. in the Church Library. This book is not currently available in local stores or libraries. Trinity is placing an order directly with the publisher and copies should be available from the Church Office for around $20.
